Boutonnieres

Boutonnieres or Buttonholes are like a finishing touch that provides a sense of style to groom as well as all men attending the wedding ceremony. Boutonniere is a decoration of flowers which is worn by men on the left side of their jacket lapels. They are usually made of a single flower which is decorated with foliage, beads and some wires giving it a different look. Boutonnieres are made creative by using various elegant things with flowers.
Boutonniere is a floral accessory for the groom which gives him a chic look. Mostly the groom’s boutonniere matches to the bridal bouquet and is all way different from the other men’s boutonnieres which symbolizes that he is the man of the day. If the bridal bouquet contains freesia, calla lily and roses, then the groom’s boutonniere must be made of calla lily, while the boutonnieres for the attendants would be of other flowers rather than calla lily.
Boutonnieres are used to make men look more attractive like women. The family members, like the father of the groom and bride or the grandfathers of both must have a boutonniere which gives them a special feeling of being greeted. Also, the groomsmen or some special men in the wedding can be honored by a boutonniere.
Boutonnieres are carnation of flowers in which the most formal is white and its traditional alternative is clove red. Various flowers can be selected depending upon the types of clothes that you are going to wear on wedding. White Gardenia which gives a beautiful scent may be one good choice or a red rose with little creativity or blue cornflower is an all-time favorite option for many men. According to the outfits of the groom, the color of flowers of the boutonnieres can be selected. If the groom is going to wear a black suit, then the burgundy colored boutonniere of tulip, rose or calla lily would make the groom look very stunning.
